About Sue
Sue Scott has loved reading books for as long as she can remember. Some of her earliest memories include going to the local library on a Saturday morning poring over favourite picture books such as Where the Wild Things Are and Caps For Sale. She was the Naughty Little Sister who loved Dear Teddy Robinson, and later Trixie Beldon and Pippi Longstocking.
In fact, even though Sue seems to be getting on in years, her love of children's books has never grown old. She's made a career out of her love for children's books as a teacher, teacher-librarian, book reviewer and now a creator of books for kids. When she's not at her computer or at the library, she can be found on her deck overlooking the bush and endless sky in Sydney's north with any combination of her three adult daughters. She will probably have a cup of tea in one hand, a children's book in the other, a chocolate melting in her mouth and a fluffy black dog called Wally curled up on her lap. |
